In July of 1992, when New York City was the murder capital of the world, a truly bizarre case took over the headlines and captured the imagination of New Yorkers. The case was entitled The People of the State of New York v. Charles Jones, but everyone came to know it as the Marla Trump Shoe Case. With the cooperation of the trial prosecutor, Heeled tells the behind-the-scenes, never-before-told story of the investigation, prosecution, and trial of Chuck Jones, aka Marla's Shoe Bandit.
